SPENCER — As David Prouty boys’ basketball players dashed off their home court Monday night and darted past an assortment of tables and chairs set up in their school’s cafeteria, the collection of Panthers piled around each other to celebrate another postseason win. Following a 78-47 victory over No. 13 Hull in a Division 5 Round of 16 matchup, the fourth-seeded Panthers were pumped to “live for another day.” Through many twists and turns, and few gut punches, David Prouty continues to pick itself up off the mat this winter all while securing a spot in a state quarterfinal for a third time in the past four seasons.
