Pay-to-win microtransactions remain a problem in FIFA 23
Whatever the case what Ultimate Team's bread & the butter of buying and selling absurd little boys is not something I would recommend. In terms of the policy of the company, EA told Eurogamer that FUT's Lootboxes "are an aspect the game of FIFA that players are awed by," and that "giving players the freedom to spend on their own if they choose to is fair." There are no plans to change its policy towards "surprise mechanics" until laws are passed that force it to. It's not going to make the situation any better.
