A man has suffered a severe shark bite at South Padre Island during Fourth of July celebrations. The South Padre Island city secretary says the incident on Thursday was reported to police at 11 a.m. The man was immediately treated and taken to a hospital. First responders are monitoring and patrolling the beach using drones.
