French government in limbo after elections produce hung parliament

Odisha man sentenced to 20 years in jail for raping girl

A 33-year-old man received 20 years in jail from Pocso court Special Judge Ranjan Kumar Sutar in Balasore, Odisha, for raping a girl last September near dense casuarinas trees after luring her with chocolate. Fined Rs 5,000, ordered Rs 4 lakh compensation, convicted under Section 6, 376 AB. Examined 16 witnesses, 20 exhibits. Pranab Panda said.
