I’m not normally one for edicts but high summer is its own beast of a style conundrum and it is a fashion editor’s blessing and curse to be the one to hold you all to account for your outfit decisions. Alberto Fujimori to run for President of Peru in 2026, daughter announces

Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori will seek a third term in office in 2026, his daughter and former presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori announced Sunday. Regarding her father's disenfranchisement given his numerous criminal convictions, Keiko insisted she would leave those matters up to their legal team. The octogenarian leader also faces several health issues.

Nuclear industries association welcomes proposed new nuclear build programme

The Nuclear Industry Association of South Africa (Niasa) has “warmly” welcomed Energy and Electricity Minister Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa‘s “significant” announcement that the country is close to launching a programme to build 2 500 MW of new nuclear power capacity in the country. China economy slumps as top party officials meet

Chinese authorities on Monday said the country's economy had expanded by just 4.7 percent in the second quarter, some of its slowest progress in years and a sign that official efforts to revive growth were not working. The grim data came the same day as top Communist Party officials sat down for a closed-door conclave which analysts are eyeing closely for any hint of help for the ailing economy.

NITI Aayog proposes a minimum 60% local sourcing requirement by value for wind energy plants

In its report, submitted to the ministry of new and renewable energy, the Aayog has raised alarm over cyber security issues due to import (specially from China) of the wind sector components by wind turbine original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suggested the need to examine power power controller (PPC) OEMs of foreign origin especially neighboring countries to minimise cyber security related challenges.
