Niroshana, ex-U19 SL captain, shot dead in front of wife and kids

Dhammika Niroshana, former Sri Lanka Under-19 captain, was shot dead at his Ambalangoda home with a 12-bore rifle while with his family. Police are investigating. Niroshana, a right-arm fast bowler, led Sri Lanka in the 2002 ICC Under-19 World Cup, claiming seven wickets at 19.28.

Thai police have found traces of cyanide in the cups of six people who were found dead in a central Bangkok luxury hotel. The bodies were found Tuesday in Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in downtown Bangkok. Upon checking hotel records, there were no other visitors to the room apart from the six who were found dead there after failing to check out.
