Hon. Frank Aduse Poku commends Newmont Ghana for role in establishing Ahafo Military Base

In a significant move aimed at bolstering security in the Ahafo Region, Newmont Ghana has initiated the construction of a military camp at Sankore-Nyamebekyere in the Asunafo South District. The project, fully funded by Newmont, marks a critical step towards enhancing the operational capacity and living conditions of military personnel in the region.

Delhi: Air you're breathing is 3rd worst in country

Delhi ranked third among the most polluted cities (102 micrograms/m3 PM2.5) from January to June, according to CREA. Byrnihat led with 140 micrograms/m3, followed by Faridabad at 103. Delhi failed WHO guidelines for 182 days. Regions impacted included Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Bihar. A comprehensive air-shed-level clean air plan is recommended.
