Israeli air strike on school housing a field hospital kills at least 30

An Israeli air strike hit a school housing a field hospital in central Gaza on Saturday, killing at least 30 people and wounding more than 100, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run territory. Israel said Palestinian militants were using the compound as a "hiding place". Also on Saturday, a rocket fired from Lebanon struck a football pitch and killed at least 12 young people in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights, Israel's army said, adding that the rocket was fired by Hezbollah, who said it had "no connection to this incident".
