Olympics 2024: Lakshya Sen goes down in semifinal of badminton men's singles; to play bronze medal match

Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen suffered a defeat against Denmark's Viktor Axelsen in the badminton men's singles semi-final, losing 22-20 21-14. Despite leading 20-17 in the first set, Sen couldn't convert the game point as Axelsen staged a comeback. The second set followed a similar pattern, with Sen leading 7-0 before Axelsen turned the match around. Sen will now compete for the bronze against Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia.
