The wreckage of a helicopter missing in Russia's far east is located and 17 bodies found

Rescuers have located a helicopter that went missing in Russia’s far east with 22 people on board, officials said. Russia’s Emergencies Ministry said 17 bodies have been found so far. All those on board are presumed to have died, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti said, citing the Emergencies Ministry. The ministry wrote on Telegram that the wreckage had been seen by rescuers from the air. Moldova Prepared For Russian Interference Ahead Of Presidential Vote

Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihail Popsoi says his country is prepared to deal with potential Russian meddling in upcoming presidential elections in October. Popsoi spoke to RFE/RL's Europe Editor Rikard Jozwiak at the Globsec security conference in the Czech capital, Prague, on August 31.
