Kenya airport strike disrupts flights

Hundreds of passengers were left stranded at Kenya's main airport on Wednesday as staff went on strike over a planned takeover by an Indian company. Earthquake in Delhi Today: On Wednesday afternoon, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan, causing tremors in Delhi-NCR and several northern Indian states including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir. The quake, with its epicenter 25 km southwest of Karor, Pakistan, occurred at a depth of 10 km.

Delhi excise policy case: Delhi court grants bail to AAP leader Durgesh Pathak, Kejriwal's custody extended till September 25

Aam Aadmi Party leader Durgesh Pathak has been granted bail by Delhi's Rouse Avenue court in the alleged excise policy case. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently in judicial custody, appeared via video conferencing. The court took cognizance of the supplementary charge sheet filed by the CBI and extended Kejriwal's custody till September 25.

NCLAT suspends insolvency resolution process against Essar Oil and Gas Exploration & Production

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has suspended the order of the lower tribunal that admitted Essar Oil and Gas Exploration & Production Ltd under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process. The appellate tribunal observed that the Section 9 application was used as a recovery mechanism, which is not permissible under the IBC.

Gravita India announced that step down subsidiary of company Gravita Netherlands BV (herein after GNBV) has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to acquire a Waste Tyre Recycling plant in Romania from an existing entity based out in Romania having a capacity of approx. 17,000 MTPA . This will be Gravita's 1st recycling facility in Europe.
