Government selects SAIL, two consortiums for pilot projects for using hydrogen in steelmaking

The government has approved three pilot projects to use hydrogen in steel production. SAIL and two consortiums will receive Rs 347 crore in financial support for these projects. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy says the projects will likely launch in the next three years. This initiative is part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
