Minsk cogeneration plant No.5 was inaugurated in 1999. It was the first power plant to commission in the CIS after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Few people know that Belarus’ first nuclear power plant was supposed to be built instead of the cogeneration plant back in the 1980s.

Indian Refiner BPCL To Boost Oil Processing Capacity

India’s second-largest fuel retailer, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), plans to raise its refining capacity by 10 million tons per year by 2028, as the biggest Indian refiners consider a massive expansion to processing capacity to meet growing demand.
