Reliance NU Suntech secures 930 MW solar, 465 MW battery energy storage projects

Reliance Power's subsidiary, Reliance NU Suntech, secured a 930 MW solar project and a 465 MW/1860 MWh battery storage project from SECI. This marks the second largest single-site battery storage deployment in Asia, excluding China. Reliance NU Suntech won the contract through an e-reverse auction and will sell the generated solar power to various discoms under a 25-year agreement.
