Chevron Inks Gas Supply Deal With Aluminum Giant

Chevron has signed a deal with Alcoa, the aluminum major, to supply it with 130 petajoules of natural gas beginning in 2028, for a period of 10 years, the U.S. major said today. The gas will come from Chevron’s Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects, which have a combined production capacity of 530 petajoules, Chevron noted in its news release.
