Jharkhand hikes dearness allowance of employees by 3 pc

The Jharkhand government has raised the dearness allowance for its employees to 53 percent of basic pay from 50 percent, effective from July 1. Pensioners will also receive a 3 percent increase in dearness relief. This move benefits over three lakh employees and pensioners.
