Parachinar sit-in continues despite peace deal

KURRAM: Protesters continued their sit-in in Parachinar, headquarters of Kurram district, on Thursday as they announced that they would end their protest only when the roads are opened for traffic and they are made safe for public travel. Israeli air strikes kill 54 Palestinians

KHAN YUNIS: Palestinians check a crater caused by an Israeli strike that hit an administrative building in the southern Gaza Strip.—AFP

CAIRO: Israeli airstrikes killed at least 54 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, including 11 people in a tent encampment sheltering displaced families, medics said. They said the 11 included women and children in the Al-Mawasi district, which was designated as a humanitarian zone for civilians earlier in the war, now in its 15th month.
