Person shot, killed on Chatham sidewalk

A person was shot to death Saturday in Chatham on the South Side.

Myron Head, 20, was on a sidewalk about 6:10 p.m. in the 900 block of East 81st Street when someone fired shots, striking him multiple times, Chicago police said.

Head was taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said.

No one is in custody.
