Ludhiana boosts industrial growth with Right to Business Act approvals and incentives.

Ludhiana's district-level committee, led by Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal, reviewed and approved 67 new industrial units under the Right to Business Act since April 2024. The Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2017, granted Rs 1445.26 lakh in incentives for 29 cases. The streamlined approval process for MSMEs through the “Business First” portal aims to boost industrial growth and generate employment.
