CBI has charged two Chinese nationals in a massive Rs 1,000 crore investment scam. The HPZ Token fraud used a fake app promising high crypto returns. This was part of a larger foreign-controlled cyber fraud network. Shell companies and payment aggregators were used to launder money. Funds were converted to cryptocurrency and moved abroad. Local handlers were arrested.
