'Great day!' Trump declares after being chastised for 'cursing audibly' in court
Former President Donald Trump took a digital victory lap on Truth Social Tuesday after a dramatic day that saw adult film star Stormy Daniels sharing "mortifying" details from his bedroom and a New York City judge chastise him for audibly cursing in court.
"GREAT DAY IN COURT TODAY!" Trump declared.
Trump issued this characterization of his criminal hush money trial — in which he stands accused of falsifying business records to cover up hush money paid to Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election — hours after the day's proceedings concluded.
While Trump appeared to celebrate those proceedings, he decried an order from Justice Juan Merchan banning him from attacking witnesses and jurors online.
"I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M GAGGED, AS THE REPUBLICAN NOMINEE FOR PRESIDENT, FROM TALKING ABOUT IT," Trump wrote. "MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY!!!"
Earlier Tuesday, the former president posted a furious rant he swiftly deleted out of apparent fear it would run afoul of the gag order, for which he has already been held in contempt of court multiple times and threatened with jail.
Then Daniels, upon taking the stand, shared embarrassing details of her encounters with Trump, reports show.

The adult film star said Trump told her not to worry about his wife because they didn't share a bedroom, that he compared Daniels favorably to his daughter Ivanka, and that she quipped he'd stolen his silky pajamas from Hugh Hefner.
Observers in the courtroom said that Trump grew increasingly agitated throughout Daniels' testimony.
Daniels also testified she felt there was a power imbalance in their relationship that made her fearful — which added a new dimension of context to Trump's alleged efforts to suppress her story.
At the time, Trump's campaign was trying to contain the fallout of the "Access Hollywood" tape in which he boasted he could get away with assaulting women.
