Popular chicken chain giving away FREE chicken wings as it brings out new Heinz sauce – but they’re disappearing fast
A POPULAR chicken chain is giving away free chicken wings to celebrate the release of a new Heinz sauce.
South London institution Morley’s have linked up with the condiment giant and is giving out free grub to celebrate.
The new Heinz Fried Chicken Sauce is made in collaboration with an iconic UK fast food chain, Morley’s which specialises in fried chicken.
The sauce went viral last year after it was first launched at an intimate pop-up event at the Standard Hotel in summer.
The condiment quickly gained a huge momentum but was only exclusively available for a short time at the event.
But thanks to popular demand, the sauce is back.
To celebrate the national supermarket rollout of their sauce with Heinz Morley’s are giving out free food at select locations this weekend.
The fried chicken fiesta will take place on May 11 between 12pm and 2pm in five locations: Brick Lane, Brixton Hill, Brighton, Watford and Milton Keynes.
Shan Selvendran, one of the co-owners of Morley’s said: “We’re excited to work with Heinz and bring our fans what they want. It’s going to be a dream come true to see our family business‘ name in supermarkets across the country!”
Thiago Rapp, Head of Sauces at Heinz said: “Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce is a flavour bomb; sweet and spicy, designed to take your meal to new heights.
“Fried Chicken is one of Britain’s most consumed dishes, more so than fish and chips! So, it made perfect sense to bring together our passion for making the nation’s most loved sauces, and the cult-love for Morley’s.”
It comes as the sauce is now available to purchase at Tesco, Morrison’s, Ocado, Heinz To Home, and will be rolled out across supermarkets nationwide in the coming months.
The bottle is now scanning at Tesco tills for only £3 for a pack size of 420 grams.
The creamy, sweet and spicy flavour pairs well not only with chicken, but with kebabs, grilled lamb and other meats.
For veggies, this sauce is told to elevate halloumi and rice dishes too.
It comes as Heinz has recently launched a brand-new ketchup flavour and it’s going to liven up your summer burgers this year.
The classic brand described the new flavour as an “addition that is guaranteed to elevate a burger or loaded fries experience to a legendary status”.
The brand’s fans can also expect to snap up bargains at Sainsbury’s as the supermarket giant has kicked off their Heinz half-price deal this week.
A huge range of products is available right now, but beware – it is only for a limited time and the deal will end soon.
