Boeing orders tumble as troubled aircraft maker struggles to overcome its latest crisis

Boeing is losing more aircraft orders than it is taking in. It's the latest sign of trouble at the company since a door plug blew out of one of its planes in January. Boeing said Tuesday that it received orders for seven planes last month. That's an unusually small number, but Boeing's problems are even worse than that. The sales were outnumbered by canceled orders for 33 planes, 29 of them due to the shutdown of Canadian discount carrier Lynx Air. Boeing delivered 24 airline jets last month, falling farther behind rival Airbus.
