Joey King Channels a Fashionable Minion While Promoting 'Despicable Me 4' in LA

Joey King is taking fashion inspiration from Despicable Me‘s iconic minions while promoting the franchise’s fourth movie in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old We Were the Lucky Ones actress is joining the franchise playing a character named Poppy. She will team up with Gru (Steve Carrell) on his latest adventure.

On Wednesday (May 15), Joey promoted the movie in a chic yellow look, which was seemingly inspired by Gru’s loyal companions!

Joey‘s buttery yellow look featured a corset, which she paired with a purple and yellow top. She added another pop of bright color with her vibrant purple bag.

The actress’ nails were also whimsical and fun – they featured painted fish!
