Piers Morgan risks reigniting furious feud with Jeremy Clarkson as he rages over his ‘sexiest man in the UK’ award
PIERS Morgan has risked reigniting his furious feud with Jeremy Clarkson.
The journalist, 59, raged on social media after it was revealed that the former Top Gear presenter’s ‘sexiest man in the UK’ award.
Piers took to Instagram to share a recent story which stated that Jeremy, 64, placed first on the UK’s sexiest man list.
The TalkTV star couldn’t hide his shock as he wrote: “WTF?!!!!,” with an angry face emoji.
The Grand Tour presenter beat the likes of Cillian Murphy, Idris Elba and Tom Holland.
It comes after 2000 members from a dating website for married people asked their users to give the list of men a score out of 10.
Piers placed 40th on the list this year.
The broadcaster listed 17th back in 2023.
Piers added in another Instagram story post: “UPDATE: Prince Harry came 47th, seven places below me.
“Suddenly I feel a lot sexier.”
Piers and Jeremy’s feud dates back to their brawl at the 2004 Press Awards.
In 2000 Jeremy was left unimpressed when Piers published pictures of him getting close with a female in a newspaper.
The Clarkson’s Farm star punched him at the awards ceremony, leaving Piers with a scar on his head.
Speaking about the altercation on Spencer Matthews‘ Big Fish podcast, Piers said: “That scar on my head is where he punched me in the head, we’re not exactly best buddies, although we get on fine now.
“I was editor of the Mirror and we published photographs of him in a compromising position with someone who wasn’t the then Mrs Clarkson and he didn’t like it, and next time he saw me he punched me in the head, which I thought was perfectly reasonable.”
After a decade, the pair decided to end their feud when they went for drinks at the pub.
They reunited on ITV’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in 2020.
“I can think of a million reasons why I shouldn’t trust you,” Piers said.
“Including this scar on my forehead.
“And there’s your broken finger… from when he struck me.
“I’m going to say the words I never thought I’d say… I trust you. I believe you. At least this way if I’m wrong, it’s your fault.”
