A rainy Preakness Stakes might actually be good news for these contenders.
If you’re worried about a rainy Saturday hurting Mystik Dan’s chances to win the Preakness Stakes and claim the second leg of the Triple Crown, fear not. This horse loves the slop. He won a very muddy Southwest Stakes and won’t be afraid to go for it if the conditions at Pimlico are similar.

It might not be the most inspiring name in the field, but Uncle Heavy can handle himself in the slop.
He won the 2024 Withers under muddy track conditions and won’t have to worry about fighting through a ton of traffic in an eight-horse field on Saturday.
