• Several storm chances ahead

There is a slight chance for a few isolated showers and storms later tonight, although we look to have better chances early next week as we continue to stay mild in the 80s for Monday and Tuesday.

Expect plenty of sunshine for Sunday with highs topping out in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Winds pick up a bit tomorrow. This will gradually draw up higher humidity into the area making the heat index reach the lower to middle 90s. That will set the stage for some stronger storms over the next few days.

Our best chance for storms looks to be late Sunday, late Monday and Tuesday as they carry the risk of strong to severe storms. As of now, our biggest threats look to be some strong winds and hail, although we can't rule out a brief spin up.

Overall, most of the day time should be dry as our next few systems will be during the evening hours.
