I’m size 14-16 & I’m obsessed with Sainsbury’s clothes – I found a co-ord that’s ‘bloat-friendly’ & perfect for holiday

FROM comfort to value for money, trying to find the perfect outfits for your summer holidays can be a tricky task.

But luckily, one fashion fan named Rebecca, who is 5ft 8 and refers to herself as a “classic mid-size girl,” has done the hard work for you.

In a clip shared to TikTok (@stylingwithrebecca), the fashionista, who is in-between the size 14 and 16, shared the recent bargain buys from her TU at Sainsbury’s haul – and praised the outfits for being “amazing.”

She begins by slipping into a co-ord, which she bought in size 16, although admits she could’ve got away with the 14.

“Yes! How cute is this?” she says.

“I love the waistcoat! It’s soft and not structured, so it would be super comfy, bloat friendly, and easy to wear all day.”

The fashion whizz then pairs them with a chic pair of beige sandals that look like a dupe for Hermes £730 ‘Chypre’ ones, but at just £16 are a whopping £714 cheaper than the real deal.

“Those are incredible,” she enthuses.

“These literally feel like slippers…I’m beyond impressed with them.”

She notes: “Outfit number one is a winner for me!”

Next up, Rebecca can be seen styling the ‘Black Embroidered Coord Shorts,’ £18, and the matching ‘Black Embroidered Coord Shell Top,’ £15.

“How gorgeous is that?” she says.

“It almost looks like a playsuit, but it isn’t. It’s a separate co-ord.

“The detailing is beautiful.”

She continues: “Look at those shorts!

“This is also super comfy, elasticated waist that would also be bloat friendly and easy to wear on holiday – that’s another winner for me!”

Rebecca says she then picked up the same sandals that she wore with her previous outfit, but in black.

Speaking of the ‘Black Faux Croc Slip On Sandals,’ which also retail at £16, she says: “They’re equally as comfy. Am I keeping these now in both colours?”

And last but not least, the fashion fan slips into a timeless black broderie summer dress, featuring puff sleeve detail, which appears to have sold out online.

“Oh, my goodness!” she enthuses.

“I’m sorry but this feels so premium, I can’t believe this is from Sainsbury’s.

“Look at that detail at the hem. How amazing is that design?

“Shirred detailing here and it’s actually double lined – this feels so premium, I love this.”

She concludes: “I am so impressed with these pieces so far from Sainsbury’s.

“The quality’s been incredible, the prices are obviously very, very good, and the designs are amazing, and I think the shapes are really flattering.”

Rebecca captioned the post: “Sainsbury’s Tu Clothing Midsize Haul.

“I’ve never tried any Tu clothing on before, but WOW, I loved this collection – especially the shoes!”

How to look chic on a budget

Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds.

  1. Don’t ever spend on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection with fashion- forward jeans that follow the current trends”. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 – UK 18, and three leg lengths – and prices start from an affordable £25.
  2. There are no rules for jewels: ”Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.”
  3.  Don’t forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there really is no excuse of not buying – or selling – pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17.

It wasn’t long before the post went viral, racking up a whopping 79k views and hundreds of comments from social media users, with many eagerly asking questions about the haul.

“I got the black dress on the weekend and you’re completely right – it’s so good!” wrote one.

A second questioned: “What size did you get in the black co-ord shorts and vest please.”

Meanwhile, a third asked: “What size did you go for on the black broderie dress? I have to order online as store have no sizes left.”
