Brotherhood Playoff Watch - Dallas Moves To The Western Conference Finals
Dereck Lively is playing well beyond his years
In Saturday’s Brotherhood Playoff action, Dallas came back from 17 down to nip Oklahoma City 117-116, win the series 4-2 and move on to the Western Conference Finals.
Kyrie Irving finished with 22 points, two rebounds and three assists.
Dereck Lively had a tremendous game off the bench, shooting 5-6 for 12 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block. After the game, Lively posted this on Instagram: “Love u Momma. Miss u momma. Just sit back n watch.”
As you probably know, Lively’s mother, to whom he was exceptionally close, died recently after a long battle with cancer.
On Sunday, Wendell Moore and Minnesota will face Denver in Game 7 of that series. If Minnesota wins, then Duke will be represented in the Finals no matter who wins in the West. And if Jayson Tatum and Boston also win the East, then at least one player who went to Duke will get a ring.
