B&M took to Facebook to share the exciting range of Australian chocolates it has stocked in stores.

The retailer said: “We’re always on the hunt for new chocolate and sweet treats. We’ve been spoiled with this collection!”

“S’Mores Kit; £3 Pinky; £1 Perky Nana; £1 Cherry Ripe.”

The post quickly wrapped up a free hundred likes and comments with Australians saying the new collection was giving them a taste of home

One user said: “Cherry Ripe reminds me of Australia.”

Another said: “Love these all the way from NZ B&M trip this weekend is a must.”

“Yummy,” said a third user.

A fourth user said: “My dreams have come true.”

I’ve been dying for these lol,” said someone else.

The Aussie favourite Cherry Ripe is a mix of cherries and coconut covered in Cadbury’s rich dark chocolate.

Pinky Bars consist of caramel and marshmallows which are then coated in a layer of Cadbury Milk Chocolate.

Australian chocolates seem to be just as popular here in the UK as they are down under.

Mars released two new Maltesers flavours in May last year, the New Maltesers Desserts Tiramisu and the Black Forest Gateau Maltesers.

B&M shoppers went wild for Cadbury’s Honeycomb Sundae Twirls after they were spotted in B&M, previously only available in Australia.

Likewise, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Slices Vanilla Passionfruit was a huge hit when it was spotted on shop shelves.

The news comes just days after Cadbury confirmed it axed the popular Dairy Milk mint crisp bar

An X, formerly known as Twitter, user asked: “@CadburyUK @DairyMilkIn When will we get these bad boys back?

The chocolatiers sadly confirmed that the bar would not be coming back.

Cadbury’s account wrote: “We understand your love for this product, but currently, there are no plans to reintroduce it.

Many fans have been saddened by discontinuations over the years as their favourite chocs disappeared from shops.

Chocolate fans have said goodbye to the “nostalgic” Egg ‘n’ Spoon cartons, iconic Cadbury Caramel bunnies and even the Cadbury Dairy Milk Toffee Popcorn bar.

Iconic chocolates that have left shop shelves

Cadbury’s Dream Chocolate bar: The popular bar was discontinued in 2002, but was relaunched in 2019 under the new name ‘Cadbury White’.

Mars Delight Bar: Although it proved to be a firm favourite by sweet-toothed fans during its four-year stint in shops starting in 2004, by 2008 it was removed from shelves. Fans still long to see the treat make a return.

Nestlé’s Caramac chocolate bar: The one-of-a-kind bar had been in shops for over six decades, but was discontinued last year due to continual slumps in sales.

Milky Way Crispy Rolls: They were pulled from shelves in 2022, and fans were so distraught by the news that a petition was started to bring them back, which currently has more than 8,500 signatures.

White Maltesers: The white chocolate version of the popular snack had a strong run lasting 11 years, but falling sales saw them discontinued in 2014.
