I sent 100 letters to companies begging for free housewarming gifts – Iceland sent something I’ve wanted for so long

A COUPLE who sent 100 letters to different companies asking for housewarming gifts were stunned when they received a package from Iceland.

Rob and Nat have just moved into a new home, so thought they’d try their luck trying to nab some freebies from various companies, as they insisted “you don’t ask, you don’t get!”

And the first response they received was from Iceland – and an epic one it was at that.

In a TikTok video, Nat pulled out a note which read: “Wishing you all the best in your new home.

“Enjoy your new air fryer!”

“Oh, my goodness, Iceland!” Nat exclaimed.

“I’ve actually wanted an air fryer for so long.

“I’m so excited about this. Oh, my goodness me.

“Thank you so much, Iceland!

“And right now, we literally don’t have a kitchen in our new house, so we can use this!”

“Turns out Iceland are great not only for your frozen goods, but apparently also for air fryers,” Rob added.

“Thank you so much, Iceland!”

He also said he was expecting a “packet of biscuits” when he saw the parcel, but said he was “over the moon” with the air fryer.

The pair then showed the air fryer set up and ready to go in the kitchen – apparently the only appliance that’s up and working.

“Now we just need to find someone who’ll just give us a new kitchen!” Rob concluded.

“It’s working! Huge thanks to @IcelandFoods for the awesome house warming gift!” he captioned the video.

“Dead chuffed with it!”

“You’re so welcome guys! Good luck with your new home!” Iceland commented on the clip.

“Omg love this, so glad it’s working for you,” another added.
