Quinta Brunson Wants to Write a Hallmark Movie, But Explains Why She'd Use a Fake Pen Name

Quinta Brunson is such a big fan of Hallmark Channel‘s Christmas movies that she wants to write one herself, but she doesn’t want to be credited for her work.

The Abbott Elementary star and creator talked about her love for the rom-com genre during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“My TV doesn’t leave that channel during Christmastime — neither me or my husband celebrate Christmas, but I love them so much and I really want to ghostwrite one,” Quinta said. “I think I’d be good at it. I hope they let me.”

But, why won’t she use her real name?

“It’s gonna be under a fake pen name. It won’t be me so you guys don’t know, because I don’t want you to be biased!” she added. “I want you to just enjoy the movie — or not enjoy it — the same way you do the other ones.”
