FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Thursday!

We start the morning off on a dry note, and that will be the case through most of the morning. Then as we get toward the mid-afternoon/evening timeframe, a few light and spotty showers roll back in. These will not be real impactful, just light. Highs top out in the upper 70s with just a light wind.

Then for Friday, expect partly cloudy skies, with highs warming into the middle 80s, and a bit of stick to the air. We'll then be tracking scattered thunderstorms, mainly late Friday, and toward sunset.

Showers continue overnight and into Saturday morning, then gradually clear into the early afternoon. Highs top out in the low to middle 80s.

For Sunday, we once again start dry, with highs in the lower 80s. Storms then develop during the back half of the day, and into the evening.

Most of the shower activity looks to clear up fairly early on Memorial Day Monday, with highs falling back to the upper 70s.

The holiday weekend is far from a washout, but do expect periodic shower and storm chances, as is fairly typical for this point in the year.
