FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Friday!

We've got a warm and sticky day ahead of us, with highs in the middle 80s, and partly cloudy skies. We'll be dry for the most part today, with just an isolated shower chance this evening. The bulk of our showers and thunderstorms hold off until after midnight, and continue through Saturday morning.

Expect scattered showers to start the day Saturday, then we'll gradually see clearing into the early afternoon. Then more showers and thunderstorms develop Saturday between about 3-6 PM. Highs top out in the lower 80s. We'll see drier conditions into the later parts of the evening.

For Sunday, expect mainly dry conditions through the daytime hours, with highs warming back into the lower 80s, and breezy conditions. Humidity remains a bit sticky. We'll then be watching another cold front move in late Sunday and into Monday.

Expect spotty showers through Monday morning, and then isolated shower activity persisting into the afternoon. Not a washout, but do keep the umbrellas handy for Memorial Day plans. Highs fall back to the upper 70s by that point.

The holiday weekend is far from a washout, but rather the typical setup we see this point in the year. Keep an eye on the Storm Team 4 forecast, and the mobile weather app, and remember; when thunder roars, go indoors!

Have a great weekend!
