Driver charged with DWI after New York nail salon crash that killed 4 and injured 9

Police on Long Island say they have arrested a man who is accused of driving while intoxicated after authorities say he crashed his SUV into a nail salon. The crash killed four people and injured nine others. Suffolk County Police said Saturday that Steven Schwally had been speeding through the parking lot when he drove his SUV through the front window of Hawaii Nail & Spa in Deer Park at around 4:30 p.m. Friday. Schwally was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. Spokespersons for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and the police department said they did not have contact information for his lawyer Saturday.
