Republicans slam Biden's decision to leave presidential race

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump called President Joe Biden “the worst President” and said he wasn’t fit to serve “from the very beginning” in a post on social media. Trump’s words were echoes by other prominent Republicans including his running mate J. D. Vance and House speaker Mike Johnson who said the party may seek legal action against the Democrats to put forward a new nominee.
