Olympic camera operators urged to avoid ‘sexist’ filming of women athletes

The Olympics broadcasting chief on Sunday said that women participating in the Games are “elite athletes” whom camera operators should be framing in the same way as their male counterparts. Yiannis Exarchos cited “unconscious bias” leading to more close-up shots of women athletes at the Games.
