France invites its nationals to leave Lebanon as threat of regional war looms

France on Sunday invited its nationals in Lebanon to leave the country as tensions continue to rise in the region after Iran accused Israel of being responsible for the assassination of Hamas's political leader Ismail Haniyeh. France also urged on Friday its nationals in Iran to leave the country, while the US and UK issued warnings on Saturday for their citizens to leave Lebanon immediately.
