NATIONAL SUMMARY

Numerous thunderstorms are expected to occur in the Florida

Peninsula today. Spotty thundershowers will dampen the

central and southern Rockies. Steady rain will fall in

northern and central Washington. Some of the highest

elevations could even have a few snowflakes mixed in with

the rain. A brief shower or two may affect Northeastern

California, far southeastern Oregon, northern Nevada and far

southwestern Idaho. Some snow can also mix in at the highest

elevations. A spotty thunderstorm could rumble through Iowa

and northern and northeastern Missouri and may spread into

southwestern Wisconsin and western Illinois. Only a few

showers will be left by the time it reaches central portions

of Wisconsin and Illinois. Thundershowers could develop over

the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
