Harris slams Trump for suggesting military handle 'enemy from within' as they vie for Pennsylvania
Vice President Kamala Harris has zeroed in on former President Donald Trump’s comments suggesting that the U.S. military could potentially be used to deal with “the enemy from within.” The comment came as the two candidates on Monday took the fight for battleground Pennsylvania to opposite ends of the state. Harris at her rally in Erie called Trump a serious threat to American democracy who is “out for unchecked power.” Trump in a weekend Fox interview was asked about concerns about outside agitators disrupting next month's election. In response, he suggested the U.S. military or National Guard be used to deal with “the enemy from within.” Trump on Monday rallied supporters at a town hall in suburban Philadelphia.
