'One Tree Hills' Sequel Casting Updates - 2 Actors Confirmed to Return, 8 Others Express Interest, But Some Definitely Aren't Involved

Ever since we learned that a One Tree Hill sequel series was in development, so many of the show’s original stars have expressed interest in returning!

According to a new report, a sequel to the beloved show is in development at Netflix over a decade after the original came to a close in 2012. While original cast members are involved, creator Mark Schwahn, who was accused of sexual abuse in 2017, is not working on the project.

The new series will pick up 20 years later and centers on two of the original characters, who are confirmed to return. It is expected to see them dealing with “love, insecurities and grief” while raising their now-teenaged children.

Amid reports about the sequel, which is still not “official,” multiple other stars have revealed if they were interested in participating. However, several have also expressed that they are not involved and seemingly aren’t coming back.
