Deadlock in Romania ahead of Russia-haunted presidential election

Romania's legislative elections on December 1 produced a fragmented parliament with the far-right making a sweeping breakthrough. The vote took place a week before the second round of presidential elections in which pro-Russian nationalist Calin Georgescu is in the lead.
