A gunman was dead and a man was in grave condition after a shooting Tuesday morning in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

The gunman fled in a brown SUV and was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head in the 4000 block of West Le Moyne Street, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
