European nations weigh looser protections for migrants amid rise of far right parties

European ministers on Thursday battled to resolve differences over the continent's human rights treaty at a meeting in Strasbourg, with some pushing for greater leeway to deport illegal migrants. At least 27 countries have now called for a rethink of the treaty's interpretation by the European Court of Human Rights, according to reports. FRANCE 24's Dave Keating reports from Brussels.
