Mark Brnovich, Arizona attorney general during Trump's push to find 2020 election fraud, has died

Former Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has died. He served as Arizona’s top law enforcement officer when the state became the epicenter of efforts by Donald Trump to find proof that the 2020 election was marred by fraud. A representative for Mark Brnovich's family said he died after having a heart attack Monday. He was 59. Colleagues and friends praised Brnovich for his work in public service. The Republican released an interim report in 2022 that outlined concerns about 2020 election procedures. He didn't provide any proof of major issues despite six months of investigation.
