Bears to wear navy blue pants Sunday vs. Rams
The Bears will wear navy pants with their home navy jersey again Sunday.
One week after they surprised their fans by breaking from their traditional home look, the Bears will do the same in the divisional round playoff game against the Rams at Soldier Field. The Bears posted an image of the navy pants hanging in the locker room hours before kickoff.
Coach Ben Johnson said Friday he didn’t know what the team would wear Sunday — and claimed he didn’t know until the last minute what they were wearing against the Packers.
“It's never been the head coach's call here,” he said.

George McCaskey, the team chairman and a noted uniform aficionado, makes such decisions. McCaskey said in August that the team wouldn’t wear any alternate uniforms this season to honor his late mother Virginia, who always preferred the Bears wear their traditional garb.
The Rams will pair a white jersey with royal blue pants and royal blue socks.
