Social media users mobilize to find Boro, a dog who survived Spain's train crash
Ana García and her sister were traveling from Malaga in southern Spain to Madrid when their train car derailed and crashed in one of the country’s worst railway tragedies. García survived, but her beloved dog Boro was nowhere to be found. With a blanket draped over her shoulders and several bandages on her face, she sent out a desperate plea: she needed help. And social media has responded en masse. Thousands amplified García’s call. Photos of Boro, a medium-sized black dog with white eyebrows and a tuft of white fur on his chest, went viral alongside phone numbers for García and her family.
