2 hurt in pre-dawn West Ridge fire
A fire that erupted in the bitter cold at a West Ridge apartment overnight left two people injured in West Ridge on the North Side.
Firefighters responded to the blaze in the 2300 block of West Touhy Avenue sometime before 3 a.m., Chicago Fire Department officials said in an X post.
Two people were taken to area hospitals where they were listed in fair condition, fire officials said.
No further information was immediately available.
