Gunmen killed at least 32 people in coordinated attacks on three communities in north-central Nigeria, according to police who said some villagers were abducted. The attacks on Saturday targeted the communities of Tunga-Makeri, Konkoso, and Pissa in Niger state. Police spokesman Wasiu Abiodun said six people died in Tunga-Makeri, adding that the numbers believed to have been abducted is unclear. Abiodun confirmed an attack on Konkoso but that detail remain sketchy. Abdullahi Adamu, a resident, said 26 people were killed in Konkoso.
