Gulf carriers resume some flights even as US-Israel strikes and Iran retaliation fuel travel chaos

Governments are scrambling to bring citizens home after U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran shut down key Middle East flight routes. On Monday, travelers are stuck in hotels, airports, and even cruise ships, with little clarity on when hubs will reopen. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha are hit, and they connect Europe with Asia and Africa. Qatar Airways keeps flights suspended, and Jordan partially closes its airspace. Germany says about 30,000 tourists are stranded, and it cannot evacuate by military flight. The Czech Republic sends planes to Egypt, Jordan, and Oman. In Bali, thousands face cancellations, too.
